Hopefully one day I’ll Illustrate this and put it in a collection of poems about dragons. There’s a dragon named Floogan Who likes you to shmooze him He likes all the stuff He can never get enough He wants you to give it all to him Floogan lies on a great hoard But he’s always wanting more He’ll take it however he might Cleverly playing tricks with delight And if you’re not careful he’ll take what’s yours His scales so pretty and green Make him look anything but mean But when you look at his snout you won’t buy it With those teeth he’ll eat you quick and quiet Yes, he looks impressive but he’s really quite mean That’s right Floogan will take all your toys He’ll eat all your food and steal all your joy He’s a crafty dragon who many want to be like But you know better than to believe his schemy lies You see past his flashy flames, glittering scales and rumbling noise You’re a wizard who makes big dragons small You’ve got knights as friends who come at your call You’ve got everything a dragon wants and needs Together you’re stronger than any dragon could be Even Floogan the great green dragon can’t withstand you all Yet Floogan will try to take you and your friends One by one each to your very ends Like a good hunter he’ll scatter you and choose One at a time until you all loose Or he’ll turn friend against friend till you can’t make amends Then mighty Floogan will manipulate and bend Everything to his will until we all depend On Floogan the dragon for our very lives And all will be simply as he decides He’ll keep taking for himself and will never relent Still, you’re a wise ol’ wizard with lots of magic left You know what that green dragon does is theft Even when others say that’s just the way it is You and your friends know the world isn’t just his There’s stuff enough for everyone and that’s what’s best So try not to huff in that big dragon’s breath Don’t schmooze him or you’ll never get a rest Floogan the Great burns and bites He’ll take all you earn then take off in flight Even for a wizard this will cause immense distress Stick with your friends to stand against Floogan Make more when you can. Fun love should woo them Floogan’ll want to protect his precious mound But the more you share the more will abound Floogan will just take those toys for himself and misuse them. So make that dragon get off his rump He needs to share his large stuff lump Make him fly There’s plenty of sky He needs to exercise. He’s quite plump. And when it comes to great Floogan Sharing would do great good for him He has more than enough More than his fair share of stuff No need to give any more to him
