Ghosts and Ghouls
Ghosts and ghouls Don’t go to school. They haunt and thieve (The poor things). They get a bad rap, But most don’t deserve that. They just make do with what they have. Not much but empty boo’s and blah’s. They learn to scare Making us jump in the air. They learn to hide Staying out of sight. They just get by Through the bumpy nights Tired all day while you’re in class Waiting for when you’ll go home at last. But those poor ghosts and ghouls Wish they could go to school To play and learn and eat Maybe even get bored and fall asleep. But all they get is tricks without the treats, Or they go completely unseen. The poor ghouls and ghosts No schools to help them be less alone, To teach them what they need So they might be free To do something Other than haunt and thieve.
